BLOOD RED SAND
The day starts early, before the sun is up
As families prepare for the day to come
Everyone’s excited about what is ahead
Eldest to youngest look forward to this day
Down to the beach, a crowd starts to grow
Looking out to the headland break
A shout goes out, the boats are on their way
Chasing something that has become prey
Mothers, fathers, sisters, brothers
Blood lust grows, as blades cleave skulls
Mothers, fathers, sisters, brothers
Dead and dying for a bloody cull
The beach is stained bloody red
Life’s blood flowing from the recent dead
These animals never stood a fucking chance
Human scum in a bloody death dance
But the world carries on as if nothing’s happened
Not our concern as it didn’t happen here
But the blood stains us all, with our silence
Acceptance of a slaughter that shames us all
Mothers, fathers, sisters, brothers
Blood lust grows, as blades cleave skulls
Mothers, fathers, sisters, brothers
Dead and dying for a bloody cull
There’s no escape from the slaughter
Mothers, fathers, sons and daughters
Killing, ripping, bloody slaughter
Mothers, fathers, sons and daughters
The first of the pod is forced in the shallows
The crowd bursts forward in a headlong rush
Not their intention to help the pod
With machetes and hooks they descend on mass
🐝🐝🐝🐝🐝 Loved this band for decades and it's great they're cracking on with the good work both creative and beautifully pleasant with a new vocalist.
Good shit innit 👏
I love the buzzy bee guitar riff on Plight Of The Bumble Bee, excellent stuff 👏
Excellent feckin album.
Money Flows is simply outstanding.
Now crank it up 🐝🐝🐝🐝🐝 🏴☠️ Mikey T. Chas The Dog And Momo The Cat 🏴☠️
Time-warped in 1982 between New Wave, Post Punk and Peace Punk. Reminds also of Vice Squad and ¡Action Pact!; or it would fit right into the Crass label. Cool because out of many “retro” bands, I haven’t heard anyone else nail this particular style. zlatanika
Aussie trio Burger Chef dish out a hearty helping of noise rock with a side of d-beat: messy, raw, and oh-so satisfying. Bandcamp New & Notable Apr 20, 2022
This Australian group wraps D-beat in layers of psychedelic fuzz & squall for a howl from the depths of modern dystopia. Bandcamp New & Notable Mar 28, 2018
Polish noise-crust outfit eschews the big Tragedy-esque riffs still popular with their US counterparts for scratchy claustrophobia. Bandcamp New & Notable Nov 2, 2016
