THE LAST GIANT
The last giant moves through the sea
Its long lonely call sounding for miles
It’s searching for a mate or company of its own kind
But there is no reply as mankind has wiped out the rest of its species
This could be a glimpse of the near future
If we don’t stop the senseless slaughter of the whales
Or pouring pollution into the sea
We’re destroying their habitat through ignorance and greed
I hear its call, a beautiful sound
It breaks my heart that we are hunting them down
They’ve been hunted to the brink of extinction
Cause man no longer cares, but we can and do care
Stop the slaughter, cause we can and do care
Stop the slaughter, cause we can and do care
This could be a glimpse of the near future
If we don’t stop the senseless slaughter of the whales
Or pouring pollution into the sea
We’re destroying their habitat through ignorance and greed
Man is hell-bent on hunting them down
Pushing them over the brink of existence
These gentle giants never harmed mankind
Yet man, through greed, has become blind to the beauty of these mammals
Who are more intelligent than their killers
This could be a glimpse of the near future
If we don’t stop the senseless slaughter of the whales
Or pouring pollution into the sea
We’re destroying their habitat through ignorance and greed
🐝🐝🐝🐝🐝 Loved this band for decades and it's great they're cracking on with the good work both creative and beautifully pleasant with a new vocalist.
Good shit innit 👏
I love the buzzy bee guitar riff on Plight Of The Bumble Bee, excellent stuff 👏
Excellent feckin album.
Money Flows is simply outstanding.
Now crank it up 🐝🐝🐝🐝🐝 🏴☠️ Mikey T. Chas The Dog And Momo The Cat 🏴☠️
Time-warped in 1982 between New Wave, Post Punk and Peace Punk. Reminds also of Vice Squad and ¡Action Pact!; or it would fit right into the Crass label. Cool because out of many “retro” bands, I haven’t heard anyone else nail this particular style. zlatanika
